In the hosting field, a control panel is a web-based tool which can help you to control your web hosting account through a graphic interface using various instruments. As the alternative is to type in commands inside a command line, most people prefer to use a control panel to control their web content. There are many control panel brands and the simplicity of administration through each of them is different, but the vast majority of tools supply a basic set of services which you'll be able to control from a point-and-click interface. For example working with files and folders, managing e-mail addresses and databases or browsing access and error logs. Several control panels will allow you to do many more things as well, so when you get a hosting solution, you should check the pros and cons of the software tool which you will use to manage your new account.
Multiple Control Panels in VPS Servers
Our VPS server
plans include three different control panels to choose from during the signup process. Hepsia is in-house built and it'll enable you to control all your domains in one place together with domain name registrations, service renewals and support tickets. It is also the easiest one of the three to work with as it has a very user-friendly interface. With cPanel and DirectAdmin you'll have extra flexibility as you'll be able to create a separate account on the server for every single domain name that you host and you'll have full root-level access, however they're more difficult to use. They also have a reseller level that will help you to start your own web hosting company. If you want extra power for your websites and you haven't had a VPS account before, Hepsia may be the better option to begin with.
Multiple Control Panels in Dedicated Servers
We offer three different control panels with our dedicated server
packages and you will be able to opt for any of them during the signup process depending on what you plan to use the server for. The Hepsia Control Panel is custom-built and it will permit you to take care of all your domain names in just a single place as all of your content will be in one account. What is more, you can manage all plan renewal payments, trouble tickets and domain registrations through the same account, so you will not need to search through different systems. The other two options, DirectAdmin and cPanel, will allow you to create individual accounts on the web server, which makes them the right choice if you intend to start a reseller business, but they're more difficult to use as compared with Hepsia, so you'll need more tech skills for both of them. A hosting server configured with either one offers full root level access, which will give you more control over the machine.
